If you are familiar with Stephanie's artwork, you may be wondering why the name of this website was changed from Animal Art by Stephanie Grimes to Alma Mia. When Stephanie creates a portrait of an animal, whether a pet portrait or a wildlife piece, in the time it takes to finish the piece, she feels as if she intimately knows the animal. With every piece of artwork she creates, a piece of her soul goes into it. “Alma mia” means “my soul” in Spanish. The name change reflects this process and also allows her more freedom to explore other subjects. Nature and animals will continue to be her main focus.
A pet can bring so much happiness to your life with their unconditional love and devoted loyalty. A special way to honor your loving companion is with a pet portrait. It can remind you of all those wonderful times you've spent together. Now you can have a one of a kind, original portrait of your pet created by an artist who truly loves animals. Stephanie will capture your pet in a timeless work of art.
Stephanie's pet portraits are highly sought after by pet owners across the United States. She has a talent for capturing the unique personality and essence of each pet, creating timeless and cherished memories for her clients.
